This completely baffles me. I have a son who is going on 7 years old. His latest obsession as of the past 2 years has been the World Trade Center/Ground Zero and the rebuilding of it. He watches the progress everyday on wtcprogress.com. As I try and explain this to family and friends and how amazed I am with his infatuation with it, they turn around and tell me, "oh I didn't know they are rebuilding the WTC? Are you sure about that?" I'm going to admit, until my son started following the progress of this, I myself didn't know that they started building it either, duh, but now thanks to him I'm excited about watching the progress along with him.
The big baffling part about all of this to me is that there are a lot of people out there that did not know they are rebuilding the WTC and if you are one of them, and you just happen to be one of my followers, well now you know lol!
The 2 pictures shown are from when my son went to visit his dad in NY and took them himself. These were taken at the early stages of progress. Now they are up to the 34th floor.
